Civil liability insurance related to the ownership and use of aircraft
Object of insurance:
The object of insurance is the civil liability of the insured individuals or legal entities for property and/or non-property damages caused by them to third parties, related to the possession and use of aircraft.
The insurance covers:
Civil liability to third parties – protection is provided against all sums that the insured is legally obliged to pay as compensation for damages (including awarded costs) related to bodily injuries as a result of events (fatal or not) and property damage, caused by the aircraft, or by a person and/or object falling from the aircraft;
Passenger and Luggage Liability – indemnifies the insured in respect of all sums which he is legally liable to pay as compensation for damages (including costs and other judgments against him) in relation to: bodily injury resulting from an accident (whether or not with fatal consequences) to passengers when boarding the aircraft, on board the aircraft or when disembarking from the same; loss or damage to passengers' baggage and/or personal belongings resulting from an aircraft accident.
