Crop Insurance
Object of insurance:
Under this insurance, we can insure the harvest of agricultural crops, fruit, vegetable, rose and mulberry gardens, fruit nurseries (nurseries), vines, strawberries, raspberries, rosehips, blackberries, queens, rootstocks, medicinal plants, redcurrants ), hops, seedlings, nurseries and flowers for seed and sale, bulbs, cut flowers - fresh, and crops grown in greenhouses and greenhouses (with or without heating) and other crops grown for production purposes.
The risks we cover under this insurance are:
The direct quantitative damages expressed in mechanical damage (breaking, tearing, plowing, damage to leaves, shoots, stems and fruits or to whole plants, etc.), as well as the costs incurred by you to limit the amount of damage caused by the risks, grouped into clauses as follows:
Clause 01 – Hail and storm;
Clause 02 – Hail, storm and torrential rain;
Clause 03 – Hail, storm and fire;
Clause 04 – Hail, storm, torrential rain and fire;
Clause 05 – Hoarfrost;
Clause 06 – Flooding;
Clause 07 – Slush;
Clause 08 – Frost and withdrawal (for autumn cereals and canola);
Clause 09 – Suffocation (steaming).
Method of determining the sum insured:
The insured amount is agreed between the parties, taking into account the market conditions and the production capacity of the area where the crops are grown. Please note that the maximum insured amount per acre cannot exceed the actual market value of the crop. The sum insured refers to the main production for which the crops are grown. For crops that are harvested in parts (slopes, etc.) or for several types of production (hay and seed), the insurance amount is allocated separately for each type and part, according to the General Terms and Conditions of the insurance.
