Perennial and forest plantations insurance
Object of insurance:
Under this insurance, we insure perennial crops:
· In the period of establishment (planting) up to 1 year of age;
· In the period of cultivation until fruiting;
· In the period of exploitation (fruiting), such as durable material assets and forest plantations up to 5 years of age.
We draw attention to the fact that under permanent plantations are understood all perennial artificially created plantations of fruit crops, vineyards, fruit healing plants, mulberries, hops, rose gardens, lavender, mother plants, etc. By forest plantations we include all artificially created plantations of coniferous, broad-leaved and mixed species.
The risks we cover under this insurance are:
We provide insurance coverage for damage to completely dead plants (trees, vines, hubs, bushes, etc.) in permanent and forest plantations, as well as the costs incurred by you to limit the extent of the damage, as a result of the risks grouped under the following coverage:
· Basic (mandatory) coverage includes the following risks:
- for perennial plantations – fire and explosion, storm, hurricane (whirlwind, tornado), hail, heavy rain, flood, erosion, landslide, salinization and frost;
- for forest plantations – fire and explosion, storm, hurricane (tornado, tornado), hail, heavy rain, flood, salting and frost;
· Additional cover for perennial and forest plantations - destruction by natural accumulation of snow and ice (breaking).
Please note that additional coverage is provided only in combination with basic (mandatory) coverage.
Method of determining the sum insured:
With us, the insurance amount is determined in accordance with the Ordinance on the basic market prices of perennial plantations (PMS No. 151 of 30.07.1991) and cannot exceed the total costs actually incurred for the establishment and cultivation of permanent and forest plantations, and for this purpose the the following requirements:
- the insurance amount per hectare for perennial plantations during the planting period is equal to the value of the establishment of the plantation (the value of the planting material and the labor costs incurred for its planting);
- the insurance amount per hectare for perennial plantations in the period of cultivation until fruit-bearing includes the value of the establishment of the plantation and the value of the material and labor costs incurred so far in the cultivation;
- the insurance amount per hectare for perennial plantations in the period of exploitation (fruiting) includes the value of the establishment of the plantation, the value of the material and labor costs incurred so far in cultivation, reduced by the depreciation deductions for each year of fruiting. Depreciation deductions are determined according to the Ordinance on the basic market prices of permanent crops (PMS No. 151 of 30.07.1991);
- the insurance amount per hectare for forest plantations up to 5 years of age includes the value of the planting material and the costs of preparation and planting in the amount of up to 15% of the value of the planting material. Preparation and planting costs include the funds needed to prepare the planting material, dig holes and plant the material.
