Professional Liability of Medical Personnel
Object of insurance:
The insurance is compulsorily concluded by the medical facilities for their medical staff or by an individual exercising a medical profession according to Art. 189, para. 1 of the Health Act of 01.01.2005 and Ordinance on the compulsory insurance of persons practicing the medical profession of 28.09.2018.

All sums up to the agreed limits of compensation that the insured is legally obliged to pay as compensation for bodily injury (including permanent disability) or death caused to patient(s) as a result of culpable failure to fulfill professional duties due to negligence, errors or omissions in professional service that is provided or should be provided by the Insured and/or his employees with relevant qualifications;
All expenses for the settlement of claims and claims made with the consent of the insurer, and the limits agreed in the insurance include the expenses for the settlement of the claims.
Insurance compensation is paid after presenting a written claim on the basis of an out-of-court agreement between the parties to the insurance contract and the injured third party, or, if such a claim is not reached, on the basis of an effective court decision.
