Professional Liability of Public Notaries
Object of insurance:
The insurance is concluded by persons performing notarial activity and is mandatory in accordance with the Law on Notaries and Notarial Activities.
IJSC "Armeec" insures the insured's professional liability in relation to:
All sums up to the agreed limits of compensation that the insured is legally obliged to pay as compensation for damages caused to clients in the performance of professional duties as a notary (including negligence, errors or omissions);
All claims settlement costs made with the consent of IJSC "Armeec", such as the limits agreed in the policy, include the claims settlement costs.
Upon payment of an additional insurance premium, the professional liability of the assistant notary and the employees of the notary's office is also insured.
Insurance compensation is paid after presenting a written claim on the basis of an out-of-court agreement between the parties to the insurance contract and the injured third party, or, if such a claim is not reached, on the basis of an effective court decision.
