Road Carrier's Liability
Object of insurance:
Under this insurance, we provide insurance protection against the carrier's material liability for total or partial absence and/or damage to the cargo transported by him by road transport with his own and/or hired vehicles.
We also cover:
The costs reasonably incurred to prevent and reduce damage and also to clarify the amount of compensable loss or damage. Such costs include: salvage of transported goods, their transshipment, storage of goods in warehouse, additional costs of transportation to their original destination and others;
Costs for freight, customs fees and other costs for transporting the goods in case of complete lack and proportionally when there is partial lack.
The risks and limits we cover under this insurance are:
In international road transport, according to the Convention on the contract for the international road transport of goods CMR;
In the case of domestic transport on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, according to the Law on road transport.
